Deadline set for Usyk and Fury to agree on undisputed fight
A deadline has been set for the undisputed heavyweight title fight to be agreed upon and signed.
Reigning IBO, IBF, WBO, and WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has been in negotiations for an undisputed fight since last year.
Usyk's team led by Alex Krassyuk indicated interest in an undisputed title fight with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
Fury after defeating Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London has a face-off with Usyk.
Usyk and Fury get title fight deadline
The negotiations between Usyk and Fury have escalated to viral videos on social media by their representatives.
Fury demanded a 70/30 financial split to make the fight against Usyk on social media.
The Ukranian accepted the terms with a request that Fury makes a one million dollar donation to his country going through a war.
Fury then demanded that Usyk drops the rematch clause and that the undisputed fight becomes a winner takes all.
Usyk came out to state that the demands from Fury and his team are getting excessive and the fight is in jeopardy.

He wrote, "The points for the agreement were sent to Fury’s side. The deadline is set. The clock is ticking.
"The ball is on #Greedybelly’s side now. We did everything in our power to make it happen @Tyson_Fury."
The World Boxing Association (WBA) has now given Usyk and Fury an ultimatum to make the undisputed fight.
The message by the boxing governing body confirmed by President, Gilberto Mendoza said, "Usyk v. Fury update: @WBABoxing deadline to receive signed bout contracts is April 1st. Otherwise, the Dobouis mandatory negotiations will be ordered."
The Saturday, April 1 deadline set by the WBA means that if Usyk and Fury cannot reach an agreement a mandatory will be called for.
British fighter Daniel Dubois has sealed his spot as the WBA mandatory and
Usyk holds three of the major four belts and the WBA Mandatory is set to be the first of his defenses.
Usyk may decide to drop the WBA belt and take on WBO-mandatory Joe Joyce or IBF-mandatory Filip Hrgovic.
