At the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam on Tuesday, Al-Nassr overcame 10-man Al-Khaleej 3-1 thanks to two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, including one in the closing minutes.

Defender Saeed Al Hamsal was sent off in the 34th minute of the first half, and Al-Khaleej's chances were severely damaged.

However, Ronaldo opened the score in the 65th minute of the second half, giving the team their first goal of the game.

The former Real Madrid star pounced on an assist from attacking midfielder Otávio to put the ball in the left bottom corner of the post.

However, Kostas Fortounis' penalty kick after a handball from Ali Lajami gave Al Khaleej the equalizer in the 80th minute.

Al-Nassr quickly responded, with Sultan Al-Ghannam scoring from close range in the very next minute.

Ronaldo had a tap-in to score his second goal of the game, taking advantage of an assist from Saad Hussain Haqawi.

With 32 points from 16 games, Al-Nassr has now jumped to third place in the Saudi Pro League standings, while Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad are currently leading the table with 40 points each.
