The 28-year-old who spent the 2021-2022 season on loan at Chelsea, was a major disappointment and has fallen far off the form that made him almost undroppable for Atletico.

According to Spanish outlet Marca,  there is an offer on the table from Al-Nassr and the player is considering all possibilities. The report also claims Al Nassr and Atletico are yet to reach an agreement over a transfer fee as Saul's current deal in the Spanish capital runs until 2026.

Ronaldo and Saul played against each other on several occasions in the Madrid derby, most notably in 2016 when the Atletico man controversially declared Luka Modric Real's best player despite Ronaldo's incredible goalscoring record.
