Young fan invades pitch, bows down to worship Ronaldo during Euro 2024 qualifier

Cristiano Ronaldo was not on target during Portugal’s 3-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina during their Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was looking to add to his record-breaking international goals for the Selecao but it did not happen.

However, a young fan fulfilled his dream of meeting the Portuguese’s superstar one-on-one as he beat the security during the game, Marca.

The young lad ran towards the 38-year-old, lifted him up and bowed down at his feet, then did the famous ‘siuuu’ celebration, before running off as he was approached by security.

It was a dream come true for the supporter as he was cheered by the home fans inside the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

Portugal’s three goals were all made in Manchester as Benardo Silva grabbed the opener before Bruno Fernandes scored a brace in the second half.

A Bruno Fernandes double and Benardo Silva’s goals maintained Portugal’s 100% record in Group J as Ronaldo not failed to find the back of the net.
