Sesko also remarked on his eagerness to work under manager Rúben Amorim and bond with his new teammates: “I cannot wait to start learning from Ruben and connecting with my team-mates to achieve the success that we all know we are capable of together.”

The transfer saw Manchester United fend off competition from Newcastle United, who had made higher bids, but Sesko’s clear preference for Old Trafford and the club’s strategic vision played a decisive role in securing the deal.
