'Coming Soon' - PUMA finally hint at release date for Davido's 'We Rise By Lifting Others' Collection

Nigerian music star Davido’s return to the limelight has been met with lots of anticipation from fans and supporters worldwide.

The multi-award-winning singer endured a difficult year in 2022, following the tragic loss of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The sad news saw a host of big plans involving the Afrobeats star postponed and highly-anticipated shows cancelled, including the official launch of his collaborative collection with German sportswear giants Puma.

In October 2022, Davido teased a collaboration between Puma and his charity organization, We Rise By Lifting Others [WRBLO].

The collection featured urban, athletic outfits and shoes in green, black, and white with yellow highlights.

The collection was slated for release in early November.

However, due to the sad passing away of his son, the official launch of the collaboration was eventually postponed till 2023.

Puma released a statement confirming the postponement of the official launch, and Davido as well deleted the teaser video from his official Instagram page.

According to the company’s latest post on social media, plans for the official launch of the Puma x Davido: We Rise By Lifting Others collection is underway, and a release date could soon be announced.

Puma posted a teaser video of the brand new collaboration with Davido with a caption that read: 'Something BIG is coming soon…'

Davido also reposted the teaser video of his collaboration with Puma on his Instagram story.

As of the time of this report, the company is yet to confirm the official date of the release.

What we do know, is that the release of the highly-anticipated collection is imminent.
