Cole Palmer has been a revelation for Chelsea this season, and his goals and assists have left the Blues in pole position to qualify for European football next season.

From a purely statistical standpoint, few Premier League players match Palmer’s output. The Chelsea man has scored 21 league goals this season, only bettered by Erling Haaland (25).

While some may point out that nine of Palmer's goals came from penalties, his skill in converting them shouldn't diminish his overall performance.

Not limited to scoring, Palmer also excels in distributing the ball, boasting nine assists—just one shy of the league leader.

Chelsea's performance in significant matches this season has been rather average, yet they've managed to put up a commendable fight against the top six teams, largely thanks to Cole Palmer.

While scoring against mid-table and relegation-threatened teams is one thing, consistently delivering against top-tier opponents at Palmer's level is another. His debut match against former club Manchester City showcased his composure under pressure, notably with the crucial penalty in extra time that leveled the game.

More recently, he scored a remarkable hat-trick against Manchester United, followed by a stellar performance against Everton, where he became the first player this season to score four goals in a Premier League match.

Cole Palmer has been ever-present since arriving at Stamford Bridge on deadline day, playing 30 of 35 games since then.

He has missed just one game through injury but has largely been available to push Mauricio Pochettino's team to European qualification.
