The Belgian side are yet to record another win since their 4-1 drubbing of Monaco on match day one, while the Spanish team are looking to make sure it stays that way.

Club Brugge havs lost just two of their last eight matches across all competitions, winning the other six, but those defeats have come in the UCL.

The Belgian side lost 4-0 against Bayern Munich on matchday three of the UCL, while Atalanta beat them 2-1 on match day two.

Brugge will look to end this losing streak, and they will be counting on their solid home form, having won nine of their 10 competitive games at home.

Meanwhile, Barcelona will hope to continue their solid run in the league phase, where they have won eight of 10 such games.

The Catalan side have won two of three UCL games this season, with their only loss coming against PSG. They come into this clash off a 3-1 victory over Elche, and will now look to build on that after losing the El Clasico in the previous week.

Club Brugge have yet to taste victory against Barcelona in European competition, drawing once and losing three of their four previous meetings. 

However, Barcelona have historically struggled on Belgian soil, managing just four wins while suffering five defeats in their European visits.

Club Brugge will be without four key players for Wednesday night’s clash, as Bjorn Meijer, Simon Mignolet, Ludovit Reis, and Raphael Onyedika all remain sidelined through injury. 

Backup goalkeeper Nordin Jackers is set to continue in goal due to mignolet’s injury.

Robert Lewandowski and Dani Olmo returned from injury against Elche and are expected to play here.

However, Joan Garcia is still short of full fitness despite returning to training, while Andreas Christensen also trained lightly on Monday but is not yet match fit.

Lamine Yamal’s groin problem is being carefully managed, but the teenager should still start in Belgium. 

However, Xavi remains without several important names, with Gavi (knee), Marc-André ter Stegen (back), Raphinha (hamstring), and Pedri (hamstring) all unavailable for selection once again.
