Chelsea and Bournemouth played out an exciting 2-2 draw that left Enzo Maresca with just one win in his last seven matches.

The visitors, despite a winless league run reaching double figures, stunned the hosts after six minutes when David Brooks bundled home a rebound.

Chelsea responded swiftly; Estêvão won a penalty after a challenge by Antoine Semenyo, which Cole Palmer coolly converted. The Blues then seized the lead through Enzo Fernández, who rifled a superb strike into the top corner following a slick one-two with Alejandro Garnacho.

However, the advantage lasted only minutes as Bournemouth’s long throws caused chaos again, allowing Justin Kluivert to tap in an equaliser after a Trevor Chalobah error.

The second half proved more sedate, with Djordje Petrović denying an electric Estêvão and Fernández firing a late chance over the bar.

The result means Chelsea have now dropped 13 points from winning positions this season, while Bournemouth avoided a seventh successive away defeat.
