One of Argentina’s most storied football clubs Boca Juniors unveiled a special Adidas-designed jersey to commemorate its 120th anniversary.
Star players Edinson Cavani and Ander Herrera are among those proudly showcasing the new kit.
The reveal, shared via the club’s official X account captured the essence of Boca’s rich history while blending tradition with modernity, as the players posed alongside teammates from both the senior and women’s squads.
The new jersey, predominantly navy with striking yellow accents, pays homage to Boca Juniors’ legacy with golden stars adorning the design—a nod to the club’s numerous titles.
A special 120th-anniversary logo, inspired by the 1995-96 kit’s 90th-anniversary emblem, sits prominently on the upper back, marking this significant milestone.
Edinson Cavani, the Uruguayan striker known for his prolific goal-scoring at clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, stood out as a fitting ambassador for the jersey.
Alongside him, Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera who previously played for Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, added a touch of European flair to the presentation.
Herrera, who joined Boca in 2024, has quickly become a fan favorite with his tenacity and leadership on the field.
Their inclusion in the photoshoot, alongside players like Marcos Rojo, Alan Velasco, and women’s team stars Celeste Dos Santos and Julieta MartÃnez, highlighted Boca’s commitment to inclusivity and unity across its squads.
