Posting on her Ig Story today, the 25-year-old influencer shared a screenshot of a direct message where a follower misspelled it, prompting her to set the record straight with a simple correction. The moment highlights the pitfalls of assumptions in the digital age, especially for those in the public eye.

The interaction started with a fan's message in the comments of Benson's latest post on the gram: "Tolani, you came to Nigeria, you should have employed me as your cultural tour guide now ."

Spotting the mistake, she replied "*Tolami" and added a note for everyone: "Guys my name is TOLAMI not tolani."

The post, shared just hours ago on Tolami Benson's Instagram Stories, nods to her Nigerian heritage, which often draws interest from fans given her shared Yoruba background with Saka.

Pulse Sports earlier reported that the UK-based media strategist recently visited Nigeria, sharing cultural insights that blend her roots with her relationship. This isn't uncommon; similar-sounding names like Tolani lead to frequent mix-ups.

The 25-year-old has been with Saka since 2020, going public in 2022 and announcing their engagement last year. A regular at his games, Tolami is known for her fashion flair and unwavering support. Bukayo Saka is currently sidelined with a hip injury sustained during a warm-up session before Arsenal's victory against Leeds United in late January 2026.

The Three Lions star missed Arsenal's Premier League match against Sunderland today, but manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that he is improving and could return soon, potentially for the North London Derby later this month. 

Before his injury, Saka helped propel Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table, where they currently hold a nine-point lead over Manchester City, following their 3-0 thrashing of Sunderland at the Emirates on Saturday, February 7.
