Manchester City star Phil Foden has sent a big warning to EPL clubs after City began 2025 with a resounding 4-1 victory over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The win, secured with an own goal from Vladimir Coufal, a brace from Erling Haaland, and a goal from Foden himself, provided a much-needed boost after a disappointing run of form.

City had managed only two wins in their final 14 matches of 2024, a slump that saw them drop to sixth on the Premier League table.

Foden’s goal was only his second in the league this season and his fifth overall, highlighting a challenging individual campaign for the 24-year-old, who was named PFA Players' Player of the Year last season.
