Bayern Munich eye €90 million move for Liverpool star

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in a move for Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old joined Liverpool in the summer of 2023 and although he has a slow start, he has blossomed this season, with 22 goals in all competitions for the Reds.

Bayern Munich's interest

According to a report from Fichajes, the Bavarians are interested in the Netherlands international and are prepared to pay Liverpool's ask for the 25-year-old. 

Per the report, the six-time Champions League winners have earmarked a €90 million fee to prise the former PSV forward from Liverpool.

Following his departure, Liverpool have set their sights on Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Frimpong as a possible replacement. Sources suggest that an agreement is already in place for the England international to join the European champions.

A move to Merseyside would see Frimpong face stiff competition from Conor Bradley, who many believe could replace Arnold.
