With only one point separating them, Leverkusen are currently in 3rd place with 23 points, while Dortmund is just behind in 4th place with 22 points. The winner of this match will strengthen their position in the race for a Champions League spot.

Bayer Leverkusen is having a strong season, especially in recent weeks.  Kasper Hjulmand’s men are on a four-match winning streak, with a surprising 2-0 against Man City midweek. 

At home, Leverkusen have been very impressive. They have scored 15 goals and let in just four in six home games this season, showing just how tough they are to beat at the BayArena. 

Borussia Dortmund comes into this match in 4th place with 22 points from 11 games. They are also having a very great time in Europe, having recently enjoyed a big 4-0 win over Villarreal in the Champions League.
