The battle for places in the Nigeria Premier League Super 6 playoff gets, even more, stiffer following the completion of week 17 matches of the 2023 regular season.
The Super 6 playoff would see the top three teams from Groups A and B, attempt to be crowned as overall champions of the 2023 season as well, vie for places in next season's CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Results on Sunday meant that 2017 champions Plateau United had fallen out of the running to participate in the Super 6, whereas Group A leaders Bendel Insurance secured their place.
But what other sides could be featuring in the playoff which is expected to hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, Lagos?
