The Catalan giants are in the market for midfielders. As confirmed by their manager Xavi recently, they would like to get a pivot, to replace Sergio Busquets and an interior.

The attacking midfielder is said to have the desired technical characteristics, and the club are interested in his profile.

However, Barcelona's financial problems will prove a hurdle, as the player only recently signed a contract extension until 2028, and has a release clause set at a reported €60 million.
