Barcelona injury woes continue as youngster is forced to leave national team camp
LaLiga giants Barcelona have been thrown into crisis mode after another injury setback threatening to derail their season even further.
Barcelona facing injury crisis
The Blaugrana have had terrible luck with injuries, as star players like Raphinha, Frenkie de Jong, Ronaldo Araujo, Jules Kounde, and Robert Lewandowski all suffered injuries that will keep them on the sidelines for weeks, if not months.
Barcelona were hoping to get back some of the players on their injury list during the international break; instead, they have lost a few more.
Just before the international window, Barcelona also lost Gavi and Lamine Yamal, who pulled out of the Spanish squad to recuperate from injuries.
Barcelona defender forced to leave national team camp
Things got worse still for the Blaugrana after defender Alejandro Balde was also forced to leave the Spanish squad after suffering an unspecified injury during the team’s training session in camp.
The full-back immediately left the national team’s camp and headed back to Barcelona to continue his rehabilitation.
Barcelona will play against archrivals Real Madrid in El Clasico just one week after the end of the international break, leaving them with little room to recover injured players.
