Barcelona defeats Trabzonspor to win UEFA Youth League

Barcelona defeated first-time Turkish finalists Trabzonspor 4-1 in Nyon, securing the UEFA Youth League title.

Within 19 minutes, Barcelona had a 2-0 lead thanks to Ibrahim Diarra and Andrés Cuenca.

Before scoring the fourth goal himself, Diarra assisted Hugo Alba for the third, and Bican Tibukoğlu pulled one back for Trabzonspor in the closing moments.

Juliano Belletti, the coach of Barcelona, started the same starting lineup that defeated AZ Alkmaar on Friday.

On minute eleven, Ibrahim Diarra scored a beautiful goal that turned on the box's edge and finished low.

Goalie Erol Can Çolak parried a corner that Brian Fariñas had sent in, but the resolute Andres Cuenca extended to poke in the rebound for the second. Landry Farré headed the corner in.

After a well-timed run, Diarra beat his opponent just outside the box and played through Alba to score Barcelona's third goal with a beautiful finish.

As Diarra completed a comprehensive team move incorporating Fariñas and Arnau Pradas, the dominance persisted.

With two minutes remaining, a heartbroken Bican Tibukoğlu did head in for Trabzonspor.
