Arsenal claimed a 2-1 victory over their London rivals Fulham on Tuesday night in the Premier League.

Gabriel, who has been a consistent starter for the Gunners this season, had to leave the field after only 16 minutes into the game.

Timber had also been struggling earlier in the game and had to be substituted 13 minutes before full-time.

The Gunners' boss has issued an update on the defender's injury status ahead of the Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

According to the Sun, "We don’t know how they're going to be. We will be assessing them tomorrow. Gabi felt something in his hamstring.

The two defenders now face a race to be fit for the Champions League quarterfinal next Tuesday against Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, the Gunners were boosted by Bukayo Saka's return from injury. Saka, who had been out for 101 days, scored just seven minutes after coming back.
