A goalkeeping error gave Crewe a first-half lead before Jack Wilshere’s youngster turned up the style in the second 45 minutes to demolish the League Two side with Nwaneri leading the attack.

As the latest gem in the Arsenal youth setup, Nwaneri’s performance has ignited excitement about the future of the club.

His five-star display in the Youth Cup is another glimpse of his immense potential within the Arsenal ranks.

In terms of what the goals meant, Arsenal sit seventh on the table in the PL under-18s league following an inconsistent and shaky start to the 2023/2024 season.

With his latest performance, it’s left to be seen if the Nigerian could become the latest academy boy to pass through the ranks to Mikel Arteta’s league leaders.
