Al Hilal set deadline for Osimhen decision after offering ₦1 billion per week salary

Victor Osimhen has been handed a jaw-dropping offer by Saudi giants Al Hilal, who are reportedly ready to pay him €30 million per year in a bid to lure him away from Europe.

The clock is now ticking for Osimhen, with the club reportedly setting a deadline for the Super Eagles star to make a decision about his future.

Al Hilal’s €30 million-per-year offer to Osimhen would make him one of the highest-paid players in world football, and the Saudi club want an answer as soon as possible.

The Saudi giants have already tabled a three-year deal worth a staggering €120 million in total, hoping to seal the move before the Club World Cup kicks off mid-June, when the world will be watching.

Talks with Napoli are expected to begin imminently, although Al-Hilal is not ready to meet the striker’s full €75 million release clause.

Instead, the Saudi club is looking to strike a deal somewhere between €35-40 million, banking on Napoli’s willingness to negotiate.

While Al Hilal wait for a response, they remain confident, especially since Osimhen is said to be seriously considering the offer for the first time.

Despite the astronomical offer, Osimhen still has one foot firmly planted in Europe. The Napoli-owned striker, fresh off a successful loan spell with Galatasaray, has drawn serious interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, both of whom have already held talks with his agents.

Juventus have also shown interest, but reports suggest Osimhen has already turned them down, with the Premier League remaining his preferred destination.

Galatasaray, meanwhile, are quietly hoping to keep him for another season, banking on his comfort in Turkey turning the tide in their favour.
