Saudi giants Al-Hilal have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly and are in negotiations with Chelsea over a transfer fee.

The former Napoli man only recently signed for the West London side last summer, however, he has struggled to settle in.

Following the PIF acquisition of the big four Saudi Professional League teams, which include Hilal, clubs in the league have turned to Europe to poach high-end talents.

Koulibaly nearing Al-Hilal move 

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the players and the interested club have reached an agreement on terms. 

However, with the Senegalese still having a contract with his current club until 2026, the AFC Champions League finalists will have to fork out a transfer fee.

Chelsea are expected to be open to selling, given their bloated squad and financial situation. And according to the report, they are in negotiations with the Saudi side over a fee.
