Ikpeazu, who recently scored against Tanzania, described the goal as a significant boost for the team's morale and their chances of advancing in the tournament.

"I am obviously happy. It keeps our dream of qualifying out of the group alive. I am happy about that," he stated. However, he emphasized that team success is paramount.

When asked about a potential goal celebration against the Super Eagles, the striker remained pragmatic, noting that the outcome of the match is more important than any individual milestone.

"In football, sometimes your emotions get the better of you, so I don't know," he said.

"I don't have any planned celebration, but if I score, that would be wonderful. The most important thing is to get the three points."

A victory for Uganda is essential to keep their qualification hopes alive, particularly after Tanzania and Tunisia played to a draw.
