AFCON 2025: Chukwueze jokes he will delay team bus if he wins Man of the Match award

The incident occurred after Nigeria's dominant win in the tournament, where Ademola Lookman was named Man of the Match for his stellar performance. 

The light-hearted threat came as the squad waited for players like Ademola Lookman and Calvin Bassey to finish their media duties following a recent victory. 

The AC Milan forward, known for his playful personality, was seen jokingly complaining about the delay and his growing hunger while waiting on the team bus.

In a video that captured the team's high spirits, Chukwueze poked fun at his teammates, saying, "If I win MOTM Award, I will tell you something."

His comments drew laughter from others, including Alex Iwobi and Peter Olayinka, highlighting the strong camaraderie within the Nigerian camp.

Chukwueze, who has been a key figure in lifting team morale, has featured in several games for the Super Eagles during the tournament, contributing in both attack and defence.
