Sporting Lagos has announced the appointment of Abdullahi Biffo as their new head coach after the departure of Paul Offor.

Abdullahi Biffo is an experienced coach and has managed several clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Experience

Biffo is one of the household names in the NPFL with coaching experience spanning over a decade as he had managed teams like Abia Warriors, Kwara United, and Niger Tornadoes in the past.

Playing Style

He is known for employing a defensive-minded 4-3-3 formation, prioritizing stability at the back.

Accomplishments

Abdullahi Biffo has achieved a respectable average of 1.39 and 1.53 points per game while managing Katsina United and Kwara United, respectively.

He was also considered as one of the contenders for coaching positions within Nigeria, including the U-17 national team.

He boasts an impressive cup record, lifting the State FA Cup six times and the Nigeria National League (NNL) twice.
