‘A huge move for my career’ - Nigerian Midfielder Afeez Aremu on his move to Aberdeen
Aberdeen have confirmed the signing of Nigerian defensive midfielder Afeez Aremu from German club Kaiserslautern with the 26-year-old putting pen to paper on a deal that runs until summer 2028.
Aremu becomes the fifth addition to the Dons’ squad during the winter transfer window, following the arrivals of Lyall Cameron, Liam Morrison, Toyosi Olusanya, and Per Kristian Bratveit.
The move comes as the club continues to operate without a permanent manager.
What Afeez said
Speaking to Aberdeen’s official website, Aremu expressed his excitement at joining the club and embracing a new challenge.
