However, the Tribal Chief stood tall against all odds to continue his historic run by defeating the ‘American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes to retain the undisputed WWE universal championship on Night 2 of 2023 WrestleMania 39.

Many expected the Reigns dynasty to finally crumble after The Usos were forced to surrender their undisputed Tag Team titles on Saturday at WrestleMania.

But the tribal chief, as a few others expected, endured to emerge victorious with the help of Bloodline member Solo Sikoa, as he approaches 1,000 days as universal champion and one calendar year as WWE champion.
