Simon recently celebrated his anniversary on X by sharing a photo of himself and his wife, who are now blessed with two children.

Following a respectable first half of the season in which he contributed three goals and five assists in 17 games Simon is currently on break after his contract was extended.
Simon's next event is the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast in January 2023.
He is one of the players who is expected to make the final 27-man squad.
