The 26-year-old defender did not return to the country with the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

Alozie decided to instead to the United States of America (USA) and her National Women's Soccer League side Houston Dash.
The Nigerian defender returns to Houston Dash after playing an integral role with the Super Falcons at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Alozie was the center of attention as the Super Falcons lost to the Lionesses of England in the round of 16.
Alozie was stamped on by England defender Lauren James which helped the Super Falcons play the rest of the game with an advantage numerically.
Alozie opted to use her left leg however missed the Super Falcons' second penalty kick as they crashed out of the tournament.

Alozie was given a warm welcome on her return to the Houston Dash based on their social media platforms.
Alozie also accompanied some Houston Dash teammates as they visited the NFL side the Houston Texans ahead of the first game of the season.

Alozie is now expected to return to action for the Houston Dash after her participation at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
With seven games left in the regular season, Alozie and the Houston Dash turn their attention to securing a spot in the 2023 NWSL Playoffs.
Alozie is expected to return to action in her first regular-season game since July 7 when Houston Dash takes on the Washington Spirit early on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
