Kai Havertz has acknowledged that his season-ending hamstring ailment was successfully treated via surgery.
Havertz tore his hamstring blocking a shot during training in Dubai, which will keep him out until the next season.
After undergoing surgery on Saturday, the striker will now start his rehabilitation to return to full health by the summer.
Arsenal defeated Leicester 2-0 on Saturday without Havertz thanks to two goals from substitute forward Mikel Merino, giving the Gunners a vital victory as they aim to catch title rivals Liverpool.

From his hospital bed, Havertz posted on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, saying, "The last few days have been tough to process both physically and mentally.
"But yesterday was a good day. A successful op and a win 🙌🏼
"Thanks for all the messages of support over the last few days, it’s really helped.
"I’m now focused on my journey to full fitness and giving all the support I can give to the team in the background."
This comes after reports that Bukayo Saka has suffered a setback in his recovery.
