Alejandro Balde with Baby Goat in Guinea

Late on Thursday, June 22, Balde took to social media to show off his visit to Guinea-Bissau.

Baldé, who was born in Barcelona in 2003 to a mother from the Dominican Republic and a father from Guinea-Bissau.

He took to his official Instagram account to post photos of his visit to Guinea-Bissau with a message that said, "Pulo Sabuia", and the flag of the country.

Balde's photo went viral as he wore a white and blue themed shirt and pants in a dusty environment.

Along with his Jordan sneakers, Balde posed for pictures with the children and elderly in the community.

Regarding Alejandro Balde's injury, Barcelona issued a formal update. 

The club announced that due to an ankle injury he suffered in the game against Real Mallorca, Balde will be sidelined for roughly 6 to 7 weeks. 

Balde, who modeled the new 2023–24 Barcelona home jersey, is set to return ahead of the start of the season.
