Daniil Medvedev defeated Jannik Sinner 7-5, 6-3 to claim the Miami Open title. It is his fourth title of the year and his fifth Masters 1000 title.

The Russian has been in incredible form since the Australian Open, winning in Rotterdam, Doha, and Dubai, losing to Carlos Alcaraz in the Indian Wells, and now winning in Miami. He has now won his 19th career title in 19 different cities - a remarkable feat.

- He is now 6-0 against Sinner, with two respective wins in Rotterdam and Miami this year. They are the most equal match wins Medvedev has against an opponent without losing in his career.
- Medvedev is 25-0 after taking the opening set in ATP matches in 2023 and holds such wins more than any player has in total for the year so far.
- With his triumph in Miami, it is his 16th ATP tournament on hard courts since 2019. One of only three players with ten or more, they are the most of any player in the ATP over that period out of 25 finals - also the most.
