Maya Jama: Ruben Dias' mom reportedly follows Love Island star amid dating rumours

The dating rumours surrounding Love Island host Maya Jama and Manchester City star Ruben Dias has taken a fresh twist.

Dias’ mother has reportedly followed Maya on Instagram, adding fuel to speculation about their romance.

The report comes just weeks after she was spotted at the Etihad Stadium during Manchester City 2-2 draw against Brighton in the Premier League.

As per Daily Mail, Jama, 30, recently jetted off to Lisbon to watch Dias, 27, in action for the Portuguese national team during the international break. 

The stunning presenter was seen in the stands at the José Alvalade Stadium as Portugal secured a thrilling 5-2 win over Denmark in their Nations League quarter-final second leg.

She was spotted in the VIP hospitality section, typically reserved for family and close friends of players. 

The Bristol-born television star was seen enjoying a glass of wine alongside a friend, further fuelling speculation about her connection to the Man City defender.

After the match, Jama took to social media to share a late-night snap of the pair partying together at 3:30am, seemingly confirming her presence at Dias’ luxury home in Portugal’s Cascais region. 

The photo, which showcased a lavish setting featuring a fire pit and swimming pool, hinted at an intimate post-match gathering.

While the couple has remained tight-lipped about their romance, footballing legend Gary Lineker appeared to let the cat out of the bag earlier this month when he casually referred to the Man City star as Maya’s 'boyfriend' live on air.
