Love after divorce: Pep Guardiola reunites with ex-wife Cristina Serra and their children at Oasis concert

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, was recently spotted enjoying the highly anticipated Oasis comeback concert in Manchester.

Alongside his children, there was one notable presence in the mix – and that’s none other than his ex-wife, Cristina Serra.

Their presence hints at a beautiful post-divorce relationship that's inspiring to see. 

Guardiola is well-known for his passion for music, particularly the iconic British band Oasis. 

Weeks ago, images surfaced of Guardiola enjoying the comeback concert from a VIP area at Heaton Park, surrounded by his eldest daughter Maria, middle son Màrius, relatives of the band members, and other celebrities.

Though, the night briefly turned uncomfortable for Pep when Liam Gallagher publicly dedicated a song to him, calling him "the best coach of all time" – prompting unexpected jeers from parts of the Manchester audience.

Dressed in a vintage Manchester City kit, Guardiola was seen by many, including via his eldest daughter's Instagram stories, singing along enthusiastically with Maria and Màrius. 

However, what wasn't initially visible in those initial glimpses, was a key attendee: Cristina Serra, Pep’s ex-wife.

The delightful revelation came weeks later, courtesy of Maria Guardiola herself. 

Taking to her TikTok account, Maria shared a "Memories of Oasis in Manchester" video, offering a more intimate look at the concert experience, a detail highlighted by El Nacional. 

Further into the video, images show her brother Màrius Guardiola affectionately hugging their mother Cristina during the performance. 

While there are no direct shots of Pep and Cristina interacting or singing together, it was a heartwarming family gathering at Heaton Park.

This public display of harmonious co-parenting truly warms the heart and speaks volumes about the enduring respect between the ex-couple.

While their recent concert reunion brought smiles, it's important to remember that Pep Guardiola and Cristina Serra embarked on a new chapter earlier this year, after reports emerged that the iconic couple split following a remarkable three decades together, including ten years of marriage. 

Spanish media outlet El Periodico, initially broke the shocking news in January 2025, describing the divorce as "totally cordial, stable and friendly." 

Sources close to the couple indicated that the decision was made in December 2024, with only their inner circle initially informed to maintain privacy. 

Despite reports that Guardiola and Cristina were on the verge of reconciliation, the former spouses also decided to use the same lawyer for the divorce proceedings.

It is understood that their paths had gradually diverged, particularly with Cristina relocating back to Barcelona in 2019 to focus on her family's fashion business, Serra Claret, while Pep remained committed to his managerial duties in Manchester. 

Despite living in separate cities for some time, reports suggested they continued to be spotted together at significant events and even spent Christmas 2024 as a family, underscoring their commitment to their three children: Maria, Màrius, and Valentina.
