Sancho has unfollowed Saweetie after seemingly hinting at a potential romance during the Conference League final.
Jadon Sancho has sparked fresh speculation after unfollowing American rapper Saweetie on Instagram, weeks following fleeting romance rumours that surfaced during the Conference League final in May.
Sancho, once a dedicated follower, appears to have detached himself from the Boffum rapper on Instagram, who never returned his follow on the platform.
The gesture comes in the wake of earlier social media clues.
Sancho flaunted his phone lockscreen photo, featuring Saweetie’s image, during Chelsea’s trophy celebrations in Warsaw back in May.
And fans believed the 25-year-old star might have dropped a big hint about his relationship with the famous rapper.
From speculation to silence: what happened to Sancho and Saweetie?
The initial rumours kicked off when Saweetie, 32, attended Chelsea’s game against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in January, sharing a warm pre-match hug with Sancho pitchside.
The rumours were further compounded by Sancho's phone displaying Saweetie's photo as his lockscreen, a move interpreted by many as a subtle but telling sign.
But now, with Sancho’s social media distancing, the public narrative has reversed.
Neither Sancho nor Saweetie ever confirmed nor publicly spoke about the dating links.
Jadon Sancho Transfer News Update
While romance rumours fade, Sancho’s professional future is capturing headlines.
After an underwhelming four-year period at Manchester United—including 12 goals in 89 Premier League games across both United and Chelsea loans—Sancho finds himself surplus to requirements under new manager Ruben Amorim.
In recent days, two clubs have emerged as frontrunners.
Serie A giants Juventus is reportedly negotiating a permanent transfer for approximately €25 million, having agreed personal terms with Sancho—including a contract until 2029 worth €5m plus bonuses.
Meanwhile, Premier League side Nottingham Forest is said to be preparing a last-minute swoop, with owner Marinakis keen to rejuvenate Sancho’s career in the Premier League.
