Super Eagles legend and AFCON 2013 winner Brown Ideye has heaped praise on Cyriel Dessers following the striker’s impressive performance against Ghana in London.

Dessers once again proved his worth by scoring the opening goal in Nigeria’s 2-1 victory over the Black Stars at the Unity Cup on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old striker, making his return to the national team after a lengthy absence, has now scored two goals in two games against Ghana, underlining his knack for shining in high-stakes encounters.

His goal against Ghana was his third in just four starts for the Super Eagles, signalling a promising resurgence for the Rangers forward.
