Wayne Rooney pulls off transfer coup as former Nigeria starlet Muhamed joins him at Plymouth
Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney and Plymouth Argyle have announced the signing of highly rated former Nigerian youth international Muhamed Tijani on a season-long loan deal from Czech side Slavia Prague.
The 23-year-old striker, who turns 24 later this month, joins Rooney's ambitious Argyle side as they look to mount a serious promotion challenge, with the club having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.

Tijani, who rose through the youth ranks of Banik Ostrava in the Czech Republic, has impressed during previous loan spells with Trinec, Karvina and Taborsko, where he netted 13 goals in 33 appearances last season.
The move to the south coast of England represents a significant step up in the young Nigerian's career, as he looks to follow in the footsteps help fire the club to Premier League promotion.
Rooney, the United and England legend, will be hoping Tijani can provide the clinical edge his Plymouth side needs to challenge for automatic promotion, with the Pilgrims hoping for better performances next season.
The deal, which is subject to EFL approval and international clearance, is sure to excite the Home Park faithful, who will be keen to see their new Nigerian frontman in action as they bid to reach the promised land of the Premier League.
