The Cim-Bom completed the signing of Osimhen on a permanent deal last summer. They agreed on a €75 million fee, spread across three instalments, and have already paid the initial €40 million, with €35 spread across two payments.
What Ozbek said
The fee Galatasaray agreed to pay for Osimhen is four times their previous transfer record (€18 million for Gabriel Sara). Hence, there were questions about how they could finance the deal.
The reports from Turkey and statements from the club's hierarchy have mentioned the use of sponsorship to fund the deal. Ozbek has now provided some insights on one such deal.
Galatasaray attended a promotional event for their current shirt sponsor, Pasifik Holdings, where Ozbek revealed that Osimhen would participate in an ad for the company’s Next Level Kemer project, and in exchange, €2 million would be paid towards Osimhen's transfer fee.
"Pasifik Holding and Galatasaray are in constant discussions to further elevate their relationship. We are collaborating on the infrastructure facilities we will build in Kemerburgaz," he said, per NTVSpor.
"We have also begun discussions on the Next Level Kemer project. There are opportunities for our football players who want to invest in acquiring real estate here under very favourable conditions.
"Pasifik Holding will be filming a commercial for Victor Osimhen's Next Level projects. We were already discussing Victor's transfer before he arrived in Türkiye. As stated in our contract, Next Level will contribute approximately €2 million to this film."
