However, a deal to bring the 2023 African Best Player to Stamford Bridge seems complicated for the Blues.

Popular transfer guru David Ornstein has given an update explaining why Chelsea are scared to sign Victor Osimhen.

This summer, Antonio Conte has withdrawn from Napoli's transfer activity as Chelsea intensifies its pursuit of Victor Osimhen.

Even as Chelsea, the Premier League's biggest spenders, continue to pursue Nigeria's Victor Osimhen, Napoli's manager Antonio Conte has swiftly removed himself from the team's summer recruitment activity due to the high level of tension in the squad. 

Napoli are also close to signing Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku as a replacement for Osimhen, who is expected to leave this summer.
