Osimhen’s transfer has been one of the biggest talking points since the start of the transfer window.
The Super Eagles star has been linked to several top teams in Europe, including Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG.
The 2023 African Best Player was close to signing for PSG a few weeks ago but could not agree a deal with Napoli, leaving the door open for Arsenal to swoop in.
Arsenal join Osimhen race
Arsenal are in the transfer market for an attacker and have identified Osimhen as the best fit for their team.
The Gunners entered the race for Osimhen earlier in the transfer window but did not make a concrete approach for the forward.
However, Arteta’s side have decided to re-enter the race again, with the transfer window closing in a few days.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Osimhen is being pursued by Arsenal, who are willing to pay Napoli approximately €100 million (£84.9 million).
Osimhen has not played for Napoli under new manager Antonio Conte, and sporting director Giovanni Manna acknowledged earlier this week that the player was set to leave.
Meanwhile, despite reports of Arsenal entering the race for Osimhen, Chelsea are also taking steps to sign the forward and Napoli, also negotiating a deal for Romero Lukaku.
According to reports, Napoli and Chelsea are again in talks as they look to split ways with top striker Victor Osimhen.
