Update on Osimhen transfer as Galatasaray, Juventus, Premier League clubs circle Super Eagles striker

Victor Osimhen’s next move remains one of the summer’s most compelling transfer sagas, as multiple clubs from Turkey to the Premier League hover in anticipation.

But with the Nigerian forward staying silent and focused on his holiday, top European sides and Galatasaray alike are being forced to wait.

Galatasaray have made their position clear; they want Victor Osimhen at whatever cost, and no one else.

Club Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu told press in Istanbul that their offer is more lucrative than what many European clubs can match, adding, “We are not talking to any other forward. We are only focused on Osimhen.”

The Turkish champions, who secured both the league and cup titles last season with Osimhen leading their attack during his loan spell, see the striker as central to their global ambitions.

Backed by local sponsors and driven by fan passion, Galatasaray has pushed harder than ever before. Still, patience is wearing thin. “He must decide as soon as possible. We will not spend this money elsewhere,” he added.

But Osimhen, who scored 37 goals in 41 games last season, continues to reflect quietly on his future, even as a record-breaking Saudi deal has already been turned down.

While Galatasaray waits, European juggernauts are keeping close tabs. Juventus have resumed talks with Osimhen’s camp, but the €75 million release clause applies only to non-Serie A clubs, meaning a direct negotiation with Napoli is required.

Complicating matters, former Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, the mastermind behind the initial Osimhen plan, is no longer in the role, reducing Juve’s odds according to Italian insider Alfredo Pedullà.

Meanwhile, Premier League sides like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool continue to monitor the situation. Manchester United, despite signing Matheus Cunha, still lack a proven No. 9, while Liverpool reportedly consider Osimhen a top target but may struggle with his £400,000-a-week wage demands.

Still, Osimhen remains relaxed. In a YouTube interview with Daddy Freeze, he said he’s focused on vacation and reviewing last season’s performances.
