Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has revealed that new signing Benjamin Sesko is ready for the Arsenal clash.
The Red Devils recently completed the signing of the Leipzig striker, ending a long-time transfer saga.
The forward was signed for a fee worth £74 million (€85 million), including performance-related add-ons and committed to a five-year contract with the Red Devils, keeping him at Old Trafford until June 2030.

Amorim's press conference
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has declared new signing Benjamin Sesko physically ready for action, but stopped short of confirming his place in the starting lineup for the Red Devils' Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday.
"I'm really happy with the signing of Sesko. I believe he's capable of playing various styles of football, and I see him as a Manchester United striker for years to come.
"That's precisely why we paid so much money – for a striker who can write his own history at the club. We haven't had much time to work together, but he's physically ready, which is a big plus in this league. He's ready to play, but we'll see if he starts," Amorim commented, as reported by Sportal.
The former Sporting Lisbon manager emphasised a game-by-game approach for the season while highlighting a return to European competition as the ultimate goal.
Manchester United endured a disappointing campaign last year, finishing 15th, a result far below the club's lofty standards. "We want to get back into Europe, but it's a difficult thing to say when you are the manager of Manchester United.
"We will fight for it. We will improve, but my focus is on taking it one game at a time," the Portuguese manager explained.
Amorim then elaborated on his plans for captain Bruno Fernandes, hinting at a slightly deeper midfield role compared to previous seasons. He also expressed satisfaction with the overall quality of his squad, despite persistent links to further midfield reinforcements.
"I think it's good for Bruno to play in one position, and that will be positive for him. Even last year, when he played in central midfield, he still had a lot of shots from around the penalty area.
"I want him close to the ball and playing with it, that's important for the team, but there are times when we need him closer to goal. We’ll try to select the best players for each game. I’m happy with the squad I have; they're working really well, and we have players with different attributes,” the manager added.
