Transfer: Top Premier League team launch bid for Super Eagles star

Bright Osayi has been linked with a move away from Turkish side Fenerbahce with top clubs in Europe wanting his signature.

The 26-year-old defender played a crucial role in the Yellow and Blacks' amazing journey in last season's title challenge.

His performance has led to newly promoted side Southampton launching a bid for the Super Eagles defender.

Southampton have made a move for Fenerbahce star Bright Osayi and have reportedly launched a bid to sign him.

According to AS Marca, a Turkish publication, the Saints have offered the Turkish team around £6.5 million in an attempt to entice Osayi to return to England.

Southampton faces fierce competition from Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and West Ham United, who are all interested in signing him. 

The Super Eagles star played 23 games, scored four goals and provided two assists for Fenerbahce last season.

Russell Martin, the manager of Southampton, is active in the transfer market as his team gets ready for life back in the top division.

They will now have to wait and see if their offer is accepted, and Mourinho will probably have the last say on whether or not to sell Osayi-Samuel.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian international, who is nearing the end of his current contract, has also been given a new two-year agreement by Fenerbahce, but he has not yet accepted it.
