Fenerbahce and Jose Mourinho could lose out on a transfer target after fresh reports emerge.

Kyle Walker is reportedly contemplating a Premier League transfer this summer as he approaches his departure from Manchester City

The 35-year-old spent the latter half of last season on loan at AC Milan, but the Italian club ultimately chose against exercising their option to make the right-back's move permanent.

Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce were reportedly keen on the right-back, and a multi-year contract was offered to the experienced defender.

Everton keen on Walker

Walker reportedly wishes to remain in the Premier League and is reportedly open to a switch to Everton, although the Toffees have initially downplayed the likelihood of such a transfer.

Fabrizio Romano reports that David Moyes is known to be seeking a new full-back, especially following Ashley Young's departure, and Walker had been on their radar earlier this summer.

Other reports suggest the experienced defender has already agreed personal terms with the Merseyside club for a one-year deal, with the two clubs now needing to finalise whether it will be a permanent transfer or a loan.

The veteran defender is said to have ambitions of making the World Cup squad next summer and aims to reach a century of England caps before concluding his international career.

During his loan spell in Milan, Walker made 11 Serie A appearances for AC Milan, following 15 appearances for City in the first half of the season.

While the full-back’s time in Italy began promisingly, with Milan unbeaten in his first three starts, his form subsequently dipped as the team struggled, finishing eighth in the Italian top flight.
