Transfer News: Bayern Munich told NO by another player after Wirtz and Nico Williams rejections
Bayern Munich have suffered another setback in their summer transfer plans, as their approach for Kaoru Mitoma has been rebuffed by the player.
Mitoma says no
German outlet Bild reported that Bayern Munich made a move for Japanese winger Kaoru Mitoma but were rejected by the former Union Saint-Gilloise man, who opted to remain at Brighton.
The 28-year-old has a contract with the Seagulls until 2027 and is already in talks for an extension.
He reached double figures in Premier League goals last season (10) for the first time in his career. This placed him on Bayern Munich's radar; however, they have now been rejected by the winger, who wants to continue in the English top flight.
Another NO for Bayern
Bayern Munich have been turned down by multiple players this transfer window as they keep working hard to improve their offensive ranks ahead of the coming Bundesliga campaign.
Florian Wirtz was expected to join the Bavarians from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, but he opted to join Liverpool in the Premier League.
They were also rebuffed by Nico Williams, who has now signed a contract renewal with Athletic Club. Mitoma is the latest player to say no to Bayern Munich.
