This is a must-win match for Spur, who will at all cost want to avoid  a third straight defeat and regain their confidence. Fulham's main aim in this fixture is to pick up at least a point so that they do not drop too far from their current position on the table.

In a dramatic turn of events in midweek, Tottenham succumbed to a 5-3 defeat to the defending champions League winners, PSG. Before then, they were hammered 4-1 by London rivals and and hat-trick hero, Eberechi Eze.

Thomas Frank's men must use this opportunity of playing against an inconsistent Fulham team to redeem themselves and get back to winning ways. The Lilywhites only have one win in their last 6 matches (D1, L4).

Fulham, on the other hand, is not faring any better. Although their recent results have been better than their host, the Cottagers have lost 5 of their six away games this season (D1).

Before heading to this match, Fulham were 1-0 winners against Sunderland last week, and this result will serve as motivation for Marco Silva. A win in this match will take the team a step closer towards achieving a finish above the bottom half of the table.

However, Tottenham has had the better H2H in the last 15 matches between the two teams. The North London club recorded a total of 9 victories with only 3 defeats (D3). Games between them have often seen the Spurs score at least a goal in most of them.

Thomas Frank will rely on Micky van de Ven and Kevin Danso to maintain the defence line in the absence of his suspended experienced defender. Kolo Muani and Richarlison will remain his options for attack.

For Fulham, Sasa Lukic will be back in the starting lineup, having served his suspension in the match against Sunderland. The manager will most likely pair Super Eagles duo Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze as partners in the front line.
