Alozie took opted for a pointed, yet playful, clap-back on Snapchat hours after Nigeria came back to defeat hosts Morocco in the final.

Just hours after Nigeria's thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Morocco in the WAFCON final – a match that solidified their dominance on the African continent, Alozie took to her Snapchat account with a series of posts that perfectly encapsulated her joyous defiance.

Rather than offering a lengthy defence, she chose a more impactful, and arguably more 'Gen Z', approach.
