According to the Spanish publication ElConfidencial, the three players are under investigation for “revealing secrets of a sexual nature” and could be headed for serious consequences.

This is not the first time a Real Madrid player has been involved in a similar situation after former Los Blancos captain Karim Benzema had his international career truncated by a sextape scandal involving teammate Franck Ribery, which caused him to miss the 2018 World Cup triumph.
On that occasion, the charges against Benzema were levelled against him in France, but the now Al Ittihad forward was eventually declared innocent, although he was found guilty of other charges, including an attempt to blackmail Ribery with the video in question.
