The Italian international fondly recalled his brief time with Barcelona's youth academy, where he played in a tournament for the Blaugrana.

"It was beautiful. I was with the Dos Santos brothers, Thiago Alcântara, and Bojan. They only taught us technique: control and quick passing, no tactics. It was a joy to be on the pitch. That team was unstoppable; we'd win 15-0," he told Gazzetta dello Sport, via Abola.

The 34-year-old striker admitted he could have given "more" throughout his career and revealed his dream of playing for Real Madrid: "I want to play for two or three more years. Then, I'll finish my career alongside my brother Enock. But yes, my dream is to play for Real Madrid."

Regarding his personal life, Balotelli became emotional when speaking about his children, Pia and Lion.

"I wasn't allowed to be fully present as a father, and over time, I realized how wonderful that responsibility is. Things are better with Pia, but with Lion, it's more difficult. Until certain laws change," he said.

His relationship with his daughter, from his relationship with model Raffaella Fico, began with tension. In 2012, Fico accused the footballer of irresponsibility. Balotelli demanded a DNA test before accepting any commitment.

In 2014, he officially recognised the child as his daughter after paternity was confirmed. In 2017, when Lion was born, Balotelli posted messages on social media criticising women who, according to him, "have children for economic benefits."
