Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has a new role at Nantes after coming on late against Strasbourg on Sunday.
Nantes continued their incredible fall after another bad outing following a 2-0 defeat to Strasbourg at home on Sunday.
Simon was a second-half substitute after coming on late to play the last 15 minutes of the game.
It was the third consecutive game that the 28-year-old has started on the bench after failing to impress in recent times.
The latest outing for the Super Eagles star means he has now failed to score for Nantes in 21 matches.
Moses last scored for the French Cup winners back in November 22, 2022.
Nantes lose again
Things have gone from bad to worst for Simon and his teammates at Nantes after the latest defeat.
Two goals in either half from the visitors handed Nantes a third defeat in a row that sees them looking down and out.
Mantes sit 17th on the table but just two points from safety with four games left to play in the season.
They return to the pitch next Sunday with a trio to Toulouse next in the Ligue 1.
